The Leadership and Literacy Foundation
is working with the Methuen Cable TV Channel to have a monthly
literacy show. The first few episodes will be a Reading Rainbow
where an adult will read books to children in the studio.
Then the literacy specialist will talk on camera about the
skills kids are developing during the reading. The show will
also conduct a home literacy evaluation by going to local
resident's homes and making recommendations on how to improve
their environment to support literacy for their children.
